After great success at the Alberta Home & Garden Shows this past spring, we are once again happy to provide a fantastic opportunity for NKBA members to participate in this Fall’s Calgary Home & Interior Design Show! Your Prairies Chapter Executive and Marketplace Events have struck a partnership that will grow quickly in the years to come. Together, we have secured a Kitchen & Bath FEATURE AREA to include our NKBA chapter booth as well as NKBA member exhibitor booths.. This year the Calgary show takes place at the BMO Centre on the Stampede grounds, and runs from Sept 16 -19, 2010. The booth will be featured as Ask a Kitchen and Bath Expert inviting the public in the show guide, and associated advertisements to come prepared with questions, sketches, etc to the show for a complimentary (no charge) 15 minute consultation.

As NKBA members, you will have the opportunity once again to volunteer at our ASK A KITCHEN & BATH EXPERT booth. By offering free 15 minute design & advice sessions at our NKBA booth you will receive valuable exposure to the public by sharing your knowledge & expertise, and meeting with Home Sow attendees who are looking for ideas and help with their kitchen or bath project. Booth time will be allotted in 4 hour increments (aprox.) and is available on a first come - first served basis. You will need to register in advance (you will have until Sept 10th to sign up), and have your preferred time confirmed. This is a unique opportunity for you as a National Kitchen & Bath Association member to participate in the biggest and best public home exposition show in Alberta while helping emphasise the importance of hiring NKBA professionals...

John Morgan is a 20-year kitchen and bath industry veteran. A manufacturer’s representative, consultant, and trainer serving on the advisory councils of two major companies, he currently represents nationally-known cabinet and technology companies through his agency, Morgan Pinnacle. A columnist for Kitchen & Bath Design News, he has written the “Rep’s View” column since 2001. Morgan has participated in the NKBA since 1985, having proudly served on the Advisory Council of Manufacturers’ Representatives, Ad Hoc CAD Design Committee, Ad Hoc Governance Committee, Nominating Committee, Certification Task Force, and Board of Directors.

Kimberley Seldon is nothing short of a big deal! Outside of being the inspirational leader of Kimberley Seldon Design Group she is also an author, journalist, keynote speaker and broadcast personality.

The Kimberly Seldon Design Group has teamed up with nation sponsor, Style at Home Magazine, to present a travelling "How to Decorate" workshop being presented in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

Kimberly Seldon will personally teach this unique workshop, focused towards talented non-professionals, and is presented in a two day intensive course.
